Bourjois Colour Boost - Peach On The Beach

I'm pretty late to the party when it comes to the many 'dupes' for the Clinique Chubby Sticks...
I have no excuse for not trying them other than the fact that I just didn't really want to!
But I caved in Superdrug and decided to try the Bourjois Colour Boost lip crayon in 'Peach On The Beach'.

This isn't a colour I'd usually go for - if I go for a peach or a nude then it's usually a very sheer 'barely there' sort of colour which this definitely isn't.

It's what I'd describe as a vibrant, maybe a bright peachy coral.
It has a really really super glossy finish which is lovely, but it doesn't feel sticky or slippery on the lips which I find really annoying with some products.

Again, unlike a lot of products marketed as 'glossy' this has a lot of pigmentation and while the sheen wears away, the peachy colour remains on the lips for a long time.

Bourjois claim that it lasts for 10 hours with comfort and hydration. Now, I can't say that it lasts 10 hours on my lips but that might just be because my lips seem to repel lipstick and NOTHING lasts 10 hours on them. But, it is hydrating and as I said before, not sticky or slippery so it's quite comfortable to wear.

It has a slight scent, although I'm not entirely sure how to describe it because I'm USELESS at describing scents... but it's almost like a light perfume. It's not unpleasant though, and it doesn't linger when it's applied so if you're not a fan of scented make-up products then don't worry!

I think it's definitely worth the £7.99 price tag and I'll be picking up some more of these next time I need a bit of a treat!

Have you tried the Bourjois Colour Boost crayons?

Thanks for reading,
