Products I've used up...

I've used up a lot of products recently which is something I don't do too often, so I'm sharing the occasion with all of you!

1. Tresemme Luxurious Moisture Shampoo.
I've always been a fan of Tresemme and I can always rely on     it when my hair isn't in the best condition. My hair is very dry and frizzy due to overstyling and dying it too much and never having it cut blah blah blah (I neglect it sometimes, I admit) and so I always go for a shampoo and conditioner which aims to replenish moisture.
This made my hair really soft and easy to manage and it did make my ends appear more healthy although we all know that the only way to get rid of dry ends completely is to chop them off!
Nevertheless, I really enjoyed using this but I get bored with hair products quite easily so I'm moving on to different things!

2. VO5 Smoothly Does It Frizz Free Creme.
I wasn't impressed with this at all. I bought it because it claimed to control frizz and also had heat defence properties - two birds with one stone!
But it didn't really do much for me at all. I feel like it weighed my hair down and made it feel almost sticky. The consistency is really thick which means I had to use more than I'd have liked to in my hair to cover any of it at all really.
It smells nice though and I think that maybe if you have less hair than I do and can use less of it in one go, it might work for you.

3. Rimmel Day2Night Mascara.
I've mentioned before that this was once my everyday go-to mascara. It was the first one I've found that really did anything to my lashes which I was impressed with. You've all seen it before but it's one of those mascaras with two steps, the first is for length and the second for volume.
While I now use a different mascara day to day, I'd use this if I'm going out in the evening or if I want a really dramatic look because it really does make my lashes big and bold and I'll be repurchasing this very soon. I can't be without it.

4. Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil Weightless Reviving Dry Oil.
I absolutely adore this. I picked this up after running out of my L'oreal Extraordinary Oil (I think that's the name) and thought I'd give it a go. I use this when I get out of the shower on damp hair if I'm leaving it to dry naturally and I'll also use it to tame any frizz when my hair is styled and to just give it some moisture. This is definitely an everyday product for me, while the L'oreal oil was more of an intense treatment for my hair every now and again.

5. L'oreal True Match Foundation.
I am so sad that I've run out of this and can't run out and get another one just yet. This was one of the only foundations I've ever found that suited my skin tone perfectly.. I don't know why I didn't buy them all at the time so I'd always have one ready!
It blends beautifully, it gives a lovely medium coverage and the finish is beautiful.
Needless to say I'll be buying another one as soon as I can!

6. The Body Shop Papaya Body Butter and Mango Body Butter.
I love these. So much. As you'll know if you read my posts regularly, my skin has been terribly dry lately and I've been using everything I could find to fix it.
I have quite a large collection of The Body Shop Body Butters and they're great.
The papaya one smells really tropical and fruity and delicious and the smell really lingers on the skin for a while after which is great because it makes you smell like a tropical drink! Who wants more than that? Not me. It's really moisturising and feels lovely on the skin.
The mango one smells really lovely too; very fruity and fresh. This one is aimed at very dry skin and so I would use this on the areas that were especially dry. This is a lot thinner than some of the other ones, for instance, the papaya one you really have to work with it as it's quite hard but this one was much more of a liquid consistency... if that makes any sense. It sinks into the skin beautifully and is really soothing.

Have you tried any of these products?
What did you think?

Thanks for reading,
Kirsten x
